Electrification of railways with  "KLK-CATRIG" rigid catenary

KLK manufactures and markets Rigid Catenary for rail facilities around the world, and has in recent years obtained considerable experience and results that leave customers fully satisfied.

The rigid catenary system is an alternative rail transport power supply system to the conventional catenary. Its characteristics make it the most widely used system in tunnels, although its lower maintenance costs justify its installation anywhere.

It consists basically of an aluminium profile with a clamp-shaped area to hold the copper contact wire, forming a whole with high mechanical rigidity and high current flow section.
