    When a new type of resistors is designed or agreed with the customer, type testing is carried out to check compliance with contract specifications. Moreover, all elements supplied are subjected to the corresponding series tests.

  • TYPE TESTING

    The most common forms of type testing are as follows:

    1. Ohmic value.
    2. Heating.
    3. Dielectric strength.
    4. Shockwave (BIL, SIL).  
  • SERIES TESTING

    Series tests are performed on each and every one of the manufactured resistors and allow detection of manufacturing defects that may affect specific units. These tests are as follows:

    1. Ohmic value.
    2. Dielectric strength in individual resistor blocks.
    3. Dielectric strength as regards the envelope.
